Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature (85 grams)
  • 8 ounces Philadelphia cream cheese, original, softened (1 package)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3½-4 cups confectioners' sugar (397-454 grams)
  • 2-4 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  • Beat butter, cream cheese, and vanilla in mixer using paddle, until light and fluffy.
  • Add sugar gradually, beating well. Start with smaller amount and add until desired consistency is achieved.
  • If the frosting is too thick, mix in milk, a small amount at a time, until desired consistency is achieved.
