Wash potatoes.
Put potatoes in a pot and cover with water at least 2 inches above potatoes.
Bring to boil. Boil until tender.
Drain potatoes.
Preheat over to 425° F.
Melt butter in frying pan.
Add garlic to butter. Saute over low heat until golden brown.
Turn off heat and add parsley to butter.
Put butter mixture in large bowl.
Once potatoes are cooked, drain and add to bowl with butter mixture.
Toss to coat.
Place potatoes on oiled baking sheet. Spread them out into a single layer.
With flat bottomed glass (or similar), gently smash each potatoes individually to flatten somewhat.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Serve.
