Butterball Cookies
Ingredients
- 8 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup pecans, chopped moderately fine
- ¾ cup confectioners' sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350℉.
- Line cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- In stand mixer fitted with paddle, cream butter until light and fluffy. Beat in honey, then flour and salt, then vanilla, and finally nuts.
- Wrap dough and chill for at least 1 hour.
- Form balls by hand, about the size of quarters, and place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.
- Bake 35-40 minutes, then remove from oven.
- As soon as the cookies are cook enough to handle, roll each cookie in confectioners' sugar.
- Allow cookies to cook, then roll again in sugar.
