Shrimp in Garlic-Wine Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 pounds fresh shrimp
- ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
- ½ head garlic, finely chopped
- ½ cup parsley, finely chopped
- ½ cup dry white wine
- kosher salt
- freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Clean and devein shrimp.
- in large heavy frying pan, cook garlic in oil over medium-low heat for 2 minutes.
- Add parsley and cook for 1 minute more.
- Add shrimp and cook for 2 minutes over medium-high heat.
- Add wine and cook until shrimp are just turned white, approx. 3-4 minutes. Do not over-cook.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve on white rice.
