Shrimp in Garlic-Wine Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds fresh shrimp
  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ head garlic, finely chopped
  • ½ cup parsley, finely chopped
  • ½ cup dry white wine
  • kosher salt
  • freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Clean and devein shrimp.
  • in large heavy frying pan, cook garlic in oil over medium-low heat for 2 minutes.
  • Add parsley and cook for 1 minute more.
  • Add shrimp and cook for 2 minutes over medium-high heat.
  • Add wine and cook until shrimp are just turned white, approx. 3-4 minutes. Do not over-cook.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve on white rice.
