Cold Chili Tofu
Ingredients

soft tofu

small scallion, sliced into thin pieces

tablespoons
sesame seeds
(toasted if desired)
Sauce

tablespoons
rice cooking wine
(or mirin or sherry)

tablespoons
maple syrup
(or brown sugar)

tablespoon
lime juice
(or rice vinegar)

tablespoon
soy sauce
1
tablespoon
chili fermented bean sauce
(or sambal oelek or fried chili crisp)

teaspoon
cooking oil

teaspoon
grated ginger
⅙
teaspoon
white pepper
Instructions
Cut tofu into pieces about 2" x ½" by ½".
Top with scallions and sesame seeds.
Spoon sauce over. Let sit at least 10 minutes before serving.
