Sephardic Haroseth
Ingredients

almonds

raw pistachios, shelled

dried apricots

dried black figs
(2 1/2 ounces)

prunes
(3 ounces)

pitted Medjool dates
Ingredients to toast

teaspoon
whole black peppercorns

cloves
garlic

pods
green cardamon

white sesame seeds
Additional ingredients

cup
pomegranate juice

tablespoons
pomegranate molasses

tablespoons
cinnamon
2
teaspoons
fine salt
Instructions
Toast almonds and set aside.
Finely chop toasted almonds, pistachios, apricots, figs, prunes, and dates. Combine.
Toast, separately, each of the following: peppercorns, garlic cloves, cardamom pods, and sesame seeds. Add to chopped ingredients.
Add remaining ingredients.
Mix together.
Serve.
