Yemeni Haroseth

Ingredients

  • cup dried Mission figs (6 ounces)
  • cup dried apricots (6 ounces)
  • cup pitted dates (4 ounces)
  • 1 ⅓ cup walnuts, chopped finely, toasted, and cooled (4 ounces)
  • ¼ cup sweet red wine
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne
  • teaspoon ground ginger

Instructions

  • In food processor fitted with steel blade, pulse together figs, apricots, and dates until finely chopped.
  • Transfer to bowl.
  • Stir in walnuts and wine.
  • Stir in spices until well combined.
